Here’s a list of some of the rotations we offer:

  • Internal Medicine

  • Surgery

  • Pediatrics

  • Psychiatry

  • Obstetrics-gynecology

  • Family Medicine

How Important Are Rotations?

They’re essential. And for many reasons. When you do a rotation, you’re basically on an informal interview. Based on your performance, you’ll ideally get that LOR. And the doctors/administrators you work alongside may be able to point you toward future career opportunities.

Rotations also help you figure out what field you ultimately want to end up in. It’s hard to know until you get that first-hand experience.

And at the end of the day, to be competitive as an applicant, you simply must have quality rotations to bolster your CV and Step 1 Score. The facts tell the story:

What to Expect

Clinical Rotations allow students to apply practical knowledge, learned in medical school, in real life situations. We start by matching you with the best preceptor in the city that fits your needs. During your rotation, you’ll shadow a physician at a clinic and typically spend time at an affiliated hospital as well. You’ll have access to patients and gain valuable hands-on experience.

What You’ll Get

In order to match into your preferred field, you’ll need a great USMLE score. In addition to that, our main priority is to help you obtain an LOR with Hospital Letterhead based on your performance during your rotation. This becomes extremely important for residency interviews during the Matching process.

What You Need To Know

The United States is headed toward a healthcare crisis. By 2025, we’re predicted to face of shortage of up to 90,000 physicians. While that may be bad news for patients, it’s great news for international medical students looking to become doctors in the US.

The non-U.S. match rate for 2018 was 51.4%. If we’re truly facing an impending shortage, that number is going to need to rise. Here’s a look at the match rates by specialty:
